A Great Valor: A Patriotic Duty

A Memorial Day poem - a tribute to our armed forces heroes past and present.

The prevailing notions
Of freedom and economic hope
Surging in the aftermath
Of non-socialist goals.
An able process of ethics and triumphs
In coherent balance,
To defend America’s privileges and rights -
Coming through the Decency
And Almighty Hands of God,
In prodigious valor,
While defending the Earth’s excellent core
Of quality humans -
Believers in their own exquisite
Country’s greatness
And beauty…

The bravest, most elite military…
The vitality and jet-setting construction
Of this once-again valued nation;
Advancing the worth and sovereignty
Of The Homeland of Freedom and Light
And the all-encompassing Earth…

Fit to be strengthened and adhered to,
While courageously banishing
The varicose numbers
Of vile enemy counterparts
And their rambunctious
Disciples of rage…

The dream of physical, mental,
And spiritual power associated
With these enlightened heights,
In reverent deferral and triumph
To upholding the advisory visions
Of proper cultural etiquette -

And those justly adventurous junkets
Of unabashed utility
And unwavering rancor!
