to: m, the boy who fell for a ghost of me

I can put the image of the girl I’ll never be, but want to be,
In your head and you’ll talk to me
Sweet words fallings from those sweet lips i can't see
one screen apart and thousands of miles away
And gradually
I’ll wish the world was blind
As we fall in love through words, how should it be
You see my heart but not the flesh that surrounds it,
The skin that surrounds me
Would you hate me
If I told you I’m not the girl you think I am.
I’ll hold on to your false image of me until I can’t—
Until my fingers slip one
By
One
And we never talk again.
