The Writer's Cramp - 7/3/25 - 9 lines plus title - Ninesquare

A Storm

When you stand in the rain one day while
Shivering, hastening, pondering
Where safety is nearby and peaceful.

Then a sun beam breaks through the black clouds
Amazingly, suddenly, speedily
A blinding where before was darkness.

A lone bird stops to squawk and stare long
Eerily, menacing, threatening
To other birds, people, and rabbits.
