When a young girl is forced to go to a camp, strange things start to happen...

Camp Fear
I was peacefully writing in my diary when my mother suddenly burst in, all excited, and said, "Clara, I found a great camp for you!" she exclaimed while handing me the brochure for Full Moon Camp.
"WHAT? Mom, this camp is two weeks long!" I almost shouted.
"I don't see the problem," she replied. "Now get dressed and ready--we're leaving in an hour." With that, she gave me a packing instructions leaflet.
"Honey, come on, bring your suitcase. I'll drive you," she said cheerfully. When we got to the train station, my mom kissed me goodbye and left me with the rest of the kids.
"Good afternoon, everyone. My name is Cardi. I'll be one of your counselors. Now we'll assign your dorm rooms and your roommates, as well as your activity groups," he said.
"Group one: Marilyn Mate, Lucia Sanchez, Olivia Fernandez, and finally, Clara Jonathan."
After they finished calling out the names, we went up to our rooms to drop off our things. Since we had some free time, I started unpacking and putting my stuff into the closet when this girl, Olivia, said:
"Hi, I'm Olivia. I've got a few rules for that freak over there," she said, pointing at me.
"Uh, are you talking about me?" I asked, curious.
"Of course. Rule one: Don't touch my stuff. Rule two: Don't make a mess. And rule three: Don't act like you're better than me. Those are the rules if you want to be my friend."
I wanted to answer back, but I couldn't--just then, our counselor called us for the first activity.

Chapter 2: The First Victim
We walked for about two minutes until we reached a gigantic climbing wall.
"Okay, kids, we're starting with climbing. Everyone, put on a helmet and harness before we begin, please," said the counselor.
A girl named Lola was the first to start climbing. She was going up when suddenly we heard a loud crack from the rope. The poor girl screamed as she fell and broke her arm. As you can imagine, no one wanted to climb after that, so we went straight to dinner at the small terrace dining hall.
The menu was burnt sausages and garlic soup. Gagging, I managed to finish all my food, though it wasn't easy. After heading up to our rooms and brushing our teeth, it was time for the night game. It started with a short play explaining the rules. Our group had to find different objects using a map the counselor gave us.
At first, I was doing pretty well--I'd even say I was having fun. That is, until I heard a scream. It came from the forest. I went to check it out... and there I saw a dead girl. My face was drenched in sweat, my legs shaking. I started running toward the counselor in a panic.
"Sir! I saw a dead girl in the forest!" I shouted.
"Calm down. Take me to where the body is," he said, strangely calm and unbothered.
But when we got there, to my surprise, the body was gone--it had vanished.
"Well, I don't see any body. These kinds of sick jokes aren't funny," he said in a serious, angry tone.
"But..."
"That's enough. Go to your room. We'll talk about your punishment tomorrow."

Chapter 3: The Lake
"Good morning! Grab your backpacks, hats, water bottles, spare clothes, and swimsuits--we're going to the lake!" said the counselor energetically.
We gathered all our stuff, got on the bus, and headed to the lake. The sun was shining beautifully. Everyone got off the bus and put on life jackets. At the dock, I saw tons of cool activities like kayaking, pedal boats, and paddle boarding.
I started with the kayak, but soon I felt water at my feet--I was sinking. Then something grabbed me from under the water. To my horror, it was Cardi. He was trying to drown me.
I swam to shore in a panic, but when I stood up, Cardi was right there in front of me--standing on dry land. I was confused. If he was here... then who was in the water?
After we finished shopping for souvenirs, I started thinking. Weird things have been happening since I got here: first, the girl who fell off the climbing wall--because the rope was supposedly rotten. Then the dead girl in the woods. And now, a sea monster with Cardi's face trying to drown me.
I had to escape.
So, without anyone noticing, I went into the bathroom of the lake cabin. I pulled out a card I had hidden in my backpack and started planning how to run away from Full Moon Camp.

Chapter 4: The Plan
That night, I decided to begin my escape. Once all the counselors were asleep in their rooms, I set my plan into motion. At 3 a.m., I would leave my room with everything I needed, go into the woods, and--hopefully--catch a passing car to hitchhike. With a little luck, it might work. Well, enough thinking about the plan... I decided to take a walk in the camp garden.
"Clara! Clara, wait!"
"Huh? What's up, Lia?" I asked, curious about her expression.
"You haven't heard? They found a dead body in the forest," she said.
"Wait... never mind that. Take me to the dead girl," I said, not too surprised.
When we arrived, there were a lot of police officers. But when I saw the dead girl's face, I froze in terror--it was the same girl I had seen on the first night, the one who disappeared afterward.
In a state of shock, I went to ask the police what was going on.
"Excuse me, officer, what happened?" I asked.
"Sorry, kid. That's confidential," the officer said.
"But--"
"That's enough," he interrupted.
Sighing, I returned to my room.
"No one's going to believe me," I thought as I heard a noise outside the room.
"What was that?" said Olivia.
"It's coming from outside the room," I replied, walking slowly toward the door. But when I opened it, Olivia and Lia shoved me out and locked it behind me.
The hallway was pitch dark. Then I started hearing voices... and a sad song.
"Girls, this isn't funny anymore! Let me in! Let me in!" I shouted.
That's when I saw something floating toward me. Just as I was about to see its face, I had a panic attack and fainted.
A few hours later, I woke up in the camp's infirmary.
"Excuse me, doctor, could you tell me what day it is?" I asked, not even sure why.
"March 29th."
That meant today was the last day of camp. Finally--I could leave this awful place and go home.
"Thank you, doctor. Can I go to my room now?" I asked, getting up.
"Room? Sweetie, you've just arrived. You haven't been assigned a room yet."
I stared at her in disbelief.
That couldn't be true.
Today was supposed to be the last day of camp.
How could I just be arriving?
