an poem i made about boredom, the fun is gone after my childhood ended.

The childhood i made.

Once I loved the games I played,
Now their colors start to fade.
Crowds of friends in lists so long,
Yet fewer voices sing along.

The clock won’t match my weary eyes,
I dream awake ‘neath sleepless skies.
More in visions than in rest,
Chasing sparks that never nest.

A heart still laughs, a smile still glows,
Yet underneath, the tiredness shows.
Joy and weight entwine, the same—
A restless dance without a name.

I used to run through open doors,
To grandparents’ arms, on childhood shores.
Now from the stars they wander near,
Watching close, I feel them here.
