Thoughts about the changing leaves on my special tree.

Reflection – "Glory Before Rest"

Beauty is often in the eye of the beholder. Some see a tree ablaze with color and marvel at its splendor. Others see the same tree and think of the work ahead, the leaves that will fall, the raking that must be done.

Yet, there is truth in both visions. For the tree, this moment is one of transition, a final act of brilliance before it rests. The fiery leaves are not a sign of decline, but of completion. They celebrate all the growth, all the seasons endured, all the storms survived.

Perhaps that is what beauty really is, not perfection, but grace in the turning. The tree does not mourn its shedding; it gives glory in its letting go.

So, what do you see? Fall is approaching, or a masterpiece in motion.
