This is a Poem I made for one of my best friend's. He lost his partner about 2 yrs ago.

In shadows deep, you stand,
With heavy heart in hand.
You search for blame, my friend,
But this is not the end.
His light still shines so bright,
In memories, take flight.

You loved him through the pain,
In joy and in the rain.
No fault lies in your heart,
You played a vital part.
His laughter, warm and true,
Still echoes back to you.

The night may feel so long,
But you are not alone.
In grief, we find our way,
Together, come what may.
Let tears fall like the rain,
And wash away the pain.

Remember all the dreams,
The laughter, all the schemes.
He’d want you to be free,
To live, to love, to be.
Hold tight to what you shared,
In love, you both were spared.

So take a breath, my friend,
This hurt will slowly mend.
You’re stronger than you know,
Through darkness, let love grow.
In time, the sun will rise,
And heal your weary eyes.
