I rescued her,she rescued me.Taking her in is the one act I will never regret doing.

Found you lost upon the beach,
and to you, I had to reach.
Took you in to my home,
somewhere safe for you to roam.

To you, it became a dome;
to me, you became the tome.
Sometimes you were a bit moody,
alarming and attacking: you start to attack!

Sometimes you were entertaining,
charming and dancing: you start to entrance!
Learning a few words,
you became a songbird.

Biting my siblings,
and they started questioning;
Pooping on my sister,
to her, you became a twister.

Running after my sister,
to her, you became a mister.
To me, you became my treasure,
but to her, you remained a monster.
