Catwalk

You mince your way in self congratulation,
certain now you’ll meet their expectation,
for who’d deny so sweet a manifestation,
being innocent and without dissimulation,
so fetching, your proud perambulation
and calculated in pure ingratiation,
yet did I spy a flicker of hesitation
betraying still your aim of fabrication?
