Keep moving...

On Monday I had a little twinge in my lower back that I ignored because I couldn't remember doing anything to provoke it. On Tuesday the twinge turned into some stiffness and pain upon moving certain ways so I used my normal go-to method cure all. I tried to "work it out" by taking a long walk. Up and moving felt better than sitting or lying...once I got started. That worked as long as I was moving. This morning it is full-fledged yep my back is killing me . But I am still moving around, the best thing to do, I think. All sorts of things go through your mind when something is hurting.

At least I have no obligations tomorrow except for visits from grandkids (grown kids), and maybe tomorrow the back pain will be history .

We are under a tornado watch, on the fringe actually, until 2 p.m. Night before last we had the worst, noisiest thunder and lightning storm ever, but thankfully no damage. I looked back a couple of years in my journals and it seems this happens here every December, just too warm for the season and Mother Nature must respond. It is dreary and drizzly but close to 80 degrees as I sit typing this. I am thankful not to need the heat on...yay.

I had to do some grocery shopping yesterday and it is a jungle out there. I read in someone's blog about how nice people are (in person) but when they get behind the wheel, they become Mr. Hyde. That is so true. Granted I am not the speediest driver in the world, just careful. In the parking lot about four of us backed out at the same time, all in positions of no return. I didn't think I'd ever get out of there! Whew.
