Thougthful poem about birthdays and what they mean. It seems like each of us have our own ideas about what means the most, but eventually it comes back to a certain idea.

Itchy, Great poem! I think this has been poetry day. You did a good job with the rhythm and flow of the message. It sounded natural, real. It didn't sound forced. I've been impressed this week. It's been fun spending time getting to know you better this week and learning some things about your writing style.

Every line in that poem was true! Well except the last, the best thing about birthdays is....PRESENTS!

Itchy, my dear friend, this is a great poem. What a great way to write about this prompt! It completely took me by surprise. You are a creative, talented lady. I am so glad I participated in this contest. Otherwise, I would never have read so many great pieces in such a short period of time. This has been awesome. You keep that pen flowing, sweetie. There's plenty of ink in THAT pen.

She wants a quiet time spent alone, and she gets it, except it's not so quiet and instead ends up creepy. I like how the words are arranged on the page. We know what she is doing even though certain words aren't being used. Good job on this.
