Making Him more real to our souls
The Bible was written in Hebrew, ancient Greek, and Arabic. The names will include the original language with a short poem on each. Jesus bought us back out of sin with His precious blood, and we should desire to get to know Him better.

“And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them, in all the
scriptures the things concerning himself” (Luke 24:27 NASV).

"But the Angel of Jehovah called ....." Genesis 22:10

The name Jehovah is an English translation of the Hebrew name for God - the four letters nin'(YHWH). Ancient Hebrew was written without vowels. The Hebrew word for God’s name in the form of the Tetragrammaton appears some 7,000 times in the Bible. Most translations arbitrarily remove God’s name and replace it with a title such as “Lord.”

If a Bible character's name ends in "ah" it has the word Jehovah in the name.

"The Angel of Jehovah" is the pre-incarnated Christ. It is used many times in the Old Testament.
