Abraham, ready to obey God, selected the place, built an alter, bound Isaac ready for the alter, when the Angel of Jehovah spoke to stay his hand. Abraham saw a ram caught in a thicket providing a sacrifice in place of Isaac. The Lord provided a lamb Himself or the Lord provided Himself a Lamb.
