Hi and glad you found Writing dot Com! I've been on live journal and many places over the past 20 years. The climate of people and reactions has changed. Some are understanding and some as you said " judgemental". For the most part it's a supportive site here. ( You will find the others pretty much anywhere!
I've only had an incident here once in 20 years with one person, pretty good odds!
I welcome 😁 you here both for WDC and my humble little corner of the universe!

Hello there! Just stopping by to read and comment. I am new-ish here and really getting into reading other's perspectives on life.
I was a long time diarist over at Open Diary for over a decade, and had developed a decent smattering of people that read my entries, and actually made a few real life friends in the process, but I did find that at the end of 2021, things took a turn, and some readers became WAY more judgmental and critical. It began to feel less friendly and supportive there, so I left. I found this site thanks to Tracker, and am enjoying it so far.

Where I am currently staying, in California, there are a few out of control wildfires happening about 20 minutes from our place- close enough to be affected by the smoke, and seeing VERY red sunsets from our neighborhood. It's heartbreaking and scary.

Anyway, I will be reading more of your stuff. Very interesting so far.

Thanks 😊 glad I did too! That's so awesome your a Rescue Mom helping those needy kitties 😻. The world needs more good conscious souls like you taking action.

I save my change in a charity box ( sometimes called a Pushka) I pray and when it fills up,we bring a 12 pack of Friskies to the animal rescue down the road.
Every bit helps!

I'm glad you posted again. I am wearing a Resue Mom T-shirt. I help some feral cats. (feed them) And now they are all fixed and ready for homes. Good luck with your book of poems. You can do it!
I am 72 and I keep telling myself I could still live another 30 years.

I appreciate you and taking the time to tell me what was up with my settings. I'm going to respond to your comments tomorrow. I've been waiting 3 months to finally see a primary care Nurse. It's been rough with my health and I know you get the medical reality.
Just finished dinner dishes and super wiped out. It's folks like you who make leaving hard.

You put your blog under Non-E, which is not correct btw. That's probably the reason you cannot find yourself as a blogger.

Aww. Sorry about all this. Of course, you are entitled to go. But it's sad to see someone leave for the reasons you described. If you go, take care! If you decide to stay under the radar for a while, take a hiatus, and come back, that's also a possibility. Times can change.

Hi, Kare Enga and nice to hear from you! Glad your having some cooler weather. We could use some rain to break up the humidity. At least the smoke is down also, that's a big blessing.

Ah yes laundry 🧺 it's something we just can't get away from lol! I miss having a yard and clothes line. ( Not to mention our washer and dryer!)
That's good you have access to it. Yeah it's good to get out of the house - even if it's not the most exciting place! Clean clothes and bedding is a nice prize for all the work we go through to do it!

I'm doing my best to make do, and deal with the lousy pain and limitations. Am limiting my time here too. Just saying hi to a some folks, like you who have been real and not phony (to be honest.)

I appreciate people who are just themselves ☺️🙏!
And mean no harm to others.

I'm going to be working on my old item The devil doesn't always wear horns.
Some Haiku, and get rid of some items.

In honor of WDC's birthday 🥳 and all the good souls.

Hi y'all 🤠. I didn't expect to write another post here, to be honest. A few people knew I was leaving but many didn't.

Some dear hearts included me( anyway !) and my nature has always been caring.

This year instead of participating in the birthday 🎈 🎎 festival ( I pulled out of the BD Bastion and didn't even try to do another contest that sounded really far out. It was about writing a blog about 10 live concerts I've ( we've) been to and memories about being on Writing. Com.

Not fluff but real experiences with others during our time here.
Things we've learned or connections forged. I wrote an outline couple of weeks ago and that's all.
For now, I'm going to keep my focus on the good things here and most of all the real and true folks. Some known for years and others more recent.

I'm working on a book 📚 of my poems, Haiku's and maybe song's.

I need to streamline my portfolio here and keep the best on it 🙂! There's a lot of clutter after 20 years and a name change LoL! I want to use this blog for positive change and to keep connected to a few special folks 🙏😸🕯️🪬🎶🌹😉🐹🥳.

Over the past week have done much praying and rethinking my life.
Heading towards the big Seven oh yeah 👍! Last week a Nurse asked me how old I was, and when I replied lol, she was shocked and said " No Way! You look like your in your late 50's!

Considering I didn't have my usual makeup 💄 on , that was a real upper to me. Even with the pain and everything else. They adjusted my thyroid medication and should feel better ( with that stuff) in 7 to 10 days! Hurray!

I will share a few other blogs and other good stuff from good writers here on WDC! I also had some great links for the Twilight Zone forum.
I used to share this on the news feed but for now, I'll let y'all few know via email.
