One way to earn gift points (GPs) is to review other people's work. Many people will offer auto-rewards for reviewing, though some will review MORE after-the-fact if you submit a really helpful review . And some people will also return the favor of a good review.

You might also want to check out couple really great newbie forums: "Invalid Item"  and "Invalid Item" . When you submit reviews and affiliate with a group you are a member of, you can also earn extra GPs by being rewarded from the mods of that group. Points vary (100, 200), but can be up to 1000, 2000, or even 5000 depending on the group and the quality of the review (and length, though not necessarily).

It can take some time to build up your GPs, but overall, the more active you are, the more you'll earn. Contests, prompts, and raffles can also help you both earn more GPs as well as gain skill in your writing, so jump right it!
