Fane actually has a presence at Fort Suffolk amusingly enough, Project Titan. Project Titan has been mentioned a handful of times in some fairly deep routes. They’re experimenting on substances that can bond with neural tissue of all things.

Eric Kim is a Fane agent that spies on Titan I believe he was an agent for Diana, though I couldn’t swear to it. And there’s also Charlotte Dahl as an agent of Project Hermod at the University, scoping out the music groups of Saratoga Falls.

In regards to Nicholas, he used to lead the chapter of the brotherhood in Kansas City after murdering Sydney’s father, but he was offered a spot in the brotherhood in Saratoga Falls’s brotherhood and transferred out there. I assume he accepted the demotion because SF has a lot more inherent magical potential than Kansas City.
