Summary of this Book...
Because of a plane crash, Jack Ryan, a character in many of Tom Clancy's books, is now tasked with the highest job in the land: presidency. This story has many twists and turns, some expected and some jump out and punch you in the face before you know what's going on.
This type of Book is good for...
If you love to read about military tactics, the inner workings of the government, stories of bravery, plots against the president, and feel moments of frustration at not being able to be in the story to aid those you have taken side with, this is for you!
I especially liked...
The president's own Secret Service member plots to kill him. You ask yourself this question: "How is such a thing even possible?". Well, rest assured. The man's plans don't work out the way he'd like them to.
I didn't like...
The ending. Vengeance was taken without too much of a struggle, and leaves a feeling for more.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Grab the next, nearest, Tom Clancy book I could find.
This Book made me feel...
Thoughtful of things I had never even imagined were possible before. (The Secret Service can have traitors??)
The author of this Book...
Has created his own genre of storymaking.
I recommend this Book because...
I enjoyed every moment of it and couldn't stop myself from reading. I'd like to give others the chance to become book zombies for a while.
I don't recommend this Book because...
It may become too frustrating for some to read, especially if they don't enjoy military babble for pages and pages.
