Summary of this Book...
Not unlike the the Christmas classic The Autobiography of Santa Claus, this soon-to-be classic is also set in the format of twenty-four chapters, one for every night before Christmas.

"As told to Jeff Guinn", this wonderful tale tells of the early life of Layla, now known as Mrs. Claus, as she grows from giving child to a young woman determined to make the lives around her better thru her gift giving. After meeting and then marrying Santa, she strives to help not only him, but his growing band of friends as they bring joy to children thru their gift giving as well.

The main focus becomes apparent when Santa comes to the New World and Layla stays behind to save Christmas for the families in England. With the Puritans taking a stronghold there, the joy and merriment of the season was becoming more and more difficult under their straight-laced demeanor.

Historically accurate, and beautifully written; How Mrs. Claus Saved Christmas will soon become a Christmas classic.
This type of Book is good for...
All ages during the holiday season.
I especially liked...
the historical accuracy intertwined within the legends.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Help Santa and his merry band of friends spread joy throughout the world!
This Book made me feel...
warm and cozy; angry and resentful, and brimming with holiday spirit depending upon the area I was reading.
The author of this Book...
has a genuine nack for storytelling!
I recommend this Book because...
along with it's companion, The Autobiography of Santa Claus, it is a true testament to the holiday season
