Summary of this Book...
Alcatraz Smedry is in trouble - he's just destroyed his foster mother's kitchen and a batty old man claiming to be his grandfather has just turned up. Oh and his is social worker's sent a gunman after him. Somewhere between a lampoon of Harry Potter, a sarcastic commentary on American teen life and the traditional good vs evil (where evil wears tweed and reading glasses). Unbeknownst to the rest of us, the world is actually run by evil librarians (hence the title) and Alcatraz and his grandfather's family are all that stand between us and total ignorance.
