About Me
I'm an aspiring author who's strayed from her craft due to a fatal case of writer's-block and I'm finally returning to my first love. I'm currently 20, and working on revising (means here: completely rewriting) a book I've been working on perfecting since I was seven years old (no exaggeration here, I promise). I took a creative writing course in my senior year of high school, and rekindled my love of writing. Poems are a love of mine, but not very profitable.
Type of Writer
Fiction, cliff-hanger short stories, 'horror', 'mystery' (I use the terms horror and mystery rather loosely) and dark comedy.
Writing Style
Some strange hybrid of Stephen King and Douglas Adams. Other times, not so much.
Interests
Photography, reading, owning a studio at some point, learning to cook more refined dishes.
Favorite Genres
Horror, Mystery, the occasional romance, suspense.
Favorite Books
The Talisman, Firestarter, Collected Works of Edgar Allen Poe, Alice in Wonderland, Grimms Fairytales, Finnigans Wake (although I can't understand it.)
Favorite Authors
Stephen King, Brian Lumley, Edgar Allen Poe, James Joyce, Lewis Caroll
Favorite Poets
Robert Burns, Edgar Allen Poe, Lewis Caroll (love that nonsense verse)
Favorite Quote
If you don't know where you're going, any road will get you there. (Lewis Caroll) In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move. Douglas Adams
Favorite Music
Emilie Autumn, Voltaire, Cruxshadows, Bowling for Soup, The Beatles, Niel Sedaka, Billy Joel, Buddy Holly, Paul Anka
Favorite Movies
Lion King, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Moulin Rouge, Across the Universe, Se7en, Sweeney Todd, Beauty and the Beast, Nightmare Before Christmas, Fight Club, War of the Roses, Death Becomes Her.
