About Me
Born and reared a poor boy in Southeast Texas and yes, I am still a Texan. Hitchhiked to Dallas where I became a programmer in 1961 and was drafted in 1964. Since the Army was making everyone at the time into Medics and sending them to Vietnam, I joined the Navy. There I stayed for 21 and a third years, retiring over 31 years ago. I retired here in the Washington, D.C. area because this is where the IT money was to be made. Also, the magnificent lady I married in 1985 wanted to stay in the area,
