If you'd like folks to check out your writing, it'll help if you include a link to the item(s) in your portfolio. We are a lazy lot around here, or at least some of us are. *Wink* To link your work, write the code like this: {item:#######} or {bitem:#######} with the item number in place of the #'s. If you use item, you'll get a simple text link; bitem will give you a snazzier, more eye-catching link. If you're linking to your book with nine chapters, I'd suggest giving a bitem link to the first chapter and letting folks go from there. If you enter {item:2325522} it'll appear as "Chapter 1" . Typing in {bitem:2325522} will show in your post like this:
