I love the urgency in your quest to state your feelings and the repetition of 'Before I go'. It shows the inner feelings of really wanting to say something to a special someone but sometimes just being rushed by life or awkward moments and bad timing which cause delays. Capturing that special moment just right though... before you go.
The aura of emotions and twirling strength of your words truly entangled me as I read your lines as well as remembered what happened that tragic day. As if you you led me by the hand through a series of memories that seemed so far ago but remain so close.
My favorite line is: "Yet, I know, like a sun, I can rise above this" How true this is. Even in the darkest hours, so to speak, its real caring and loving people that can rise above it, like the sun, and continue on... to assist... to care... to love.
