To their own silent song/ The stars above dance
To their own silent song
The stars above dance
Swaying together
In a celestial romance

The earth longs to hear
That haunting refrain
While night after night
They make music again.

The sky is their curtain,
The earth is their stage,
The moon is their spotlight
Age beyond age.

Time does not touch them
As together they stay
In that dark velvet ballroom
At the closing of day.
