About the way the city is before people wake up.
So many sights,
So many sounds,
So many smells,
To make our home.

At the break of dawn,
So many colors,
Flow through the city,
Reds, oranges, yellows.

The light peeps through,
Our closed windows,
As if to knock,
And say hello.

It welcomes us,
With open arms,
To a brand new day,
Without any harm.

The blissful breeze,
Blows and picks up,
Discarded pieces,
Of litter and dust.

They move together,
Round and round they prance,
As if they are doing,
A ritual dance.

The birds' singing,
Makes the morning sweet,
Together, in sync,
Twitter twitter, tweet tweet.

All the trees sway,
From side to side,
As the wind passes through them,
They wave and say hi.

Their branches, their leaves,
They ruffle, they shake,
Their twigs gently wiggle,
Just like little snakes.

All is well,
Bottom to top,
All is at peace,
And then we wake up...
