I wrote this after I was dumped by my fiancee, trying to express my love for the winter
On the wind, she wrote the name of her lover in whispers and sighs,
thinking of him, she only cries
and her mind quickly coincides
with the beating of her broken heart.
The autumn wind is not even cold,
it's like summer is a stronghold...
  As winter slowly dies away,
there is no reason for her to stay.
  If only someone would say
how it's supposed to feel.
  Slowly, it's all falling apart
like the beating of her broken heart,
that only the winter chill can mend.
Maybe one day someone will send
another -simple- heart to bend;
so that she won't be alone.
Just a small sea drift would do.
Of course, it could push through...
but the question is, will it now?
Does it even remember how?
It's almost like winter has taken the final bow,
and left us all for good.
