For the Pond Poetry Contest.
Spring
with all
loveliness
has deserted
me, flowers withered.
Scorching heat in April
sizzles my soft, tender skin.
I wish earnestly for rain to
come and wash away all my sorrow
and dance merrily like a nimble lamb.


Form: Ethere
This is such a form consisting of 10 lines such that each line has equal number of syllables as per its number. For example, line 1 has 1 syllable, line 2 has 2 syllables and continuing in this manner we get 10 syllables in line 10.
