A bit of a twist on the classic tale
                   Jack Uses His Bean

         Mom’s cupboards were empty, not one scrap of food;
         All her hopes were on Jack, a smooth talkin’ dude -
         Go find us a fortune, I’m counting on you.
          I’ve got a few coins, I can use this old bean -
         Clever Jack concocted a confidence scheme.

         Bury some coins and dress up the bean,
         Enter the town and make a big scene.
         All the curious folk were soon gathered ‘round -
         Now Jack told the tale of a bean that he’d found.
         Said look at this bean, it makes money appear.

         Then Jack held the bean up next to his ear.
         After faking the finding, Jack sold that bean dear.
         Listen and learn, Jack’s tale was a crock,
         Keep one hand on your wallet when magic beans talk!
