A poem for the Stormy's poetry newsletter contest.
While sloshing through the puddles
with rubber boots after rain occurred,
I watched a child drifting away a paper
boat with full of merriment and fun.

My mind hovered back to my childhood,
where I used to watch a duck waddling.
Those halcyon days of rainbow dreams
are now but mere mirages in my mind.
