An entry for the Stormy's poetry newsletter contest.
She saw a missed call on her phone
But her gloomy mood prevailed and
She did not pick it up to see
The caller, to avoid people.

Buried in her brooding distress,
She had lost interaction with
The ones whom she loved once deeply.
Her contact with the world had severed.

She recalled the time spent in a
Cafe which once was her hangout.
But the pall of gloom swathed her
In a cell of abject darkness.

She had been battling her demons
Of her mind for quite a long time
But the devils lurked and posed a
Threat to her flimsy existence.
