The life of a raindrop.
Each raindrop lives for just a moment
I watch them fall onto the ground
Making puddles without a sound
The heavens off load this beautiful movement.

Crystal points of water glow
How they form in clouds so low
Fall on me and make me smile
A simple raindrop, I think for a while.

Oh how can one fall from the sky
In a tiny ball, I wonder why?
Feeding grass and soil alike
Flooding paths and cooling dykes.

From my window your scent is real
The earth is moist I can reveal
Snails love you and so do I
I hope you live again, in the sky.

Oh little raindrop, you're linked with romance
Making everyone sing and merrily dance
Now you can make a rainbow too
This is a beauty only you can do.
