My Options

Sometimes I write in UPPER CASE,
then add a touch of BOLD.
But that can be too in your face.
At least that’s what I’m told.

so then I’ll switch to lower case,
as subtle as can be.
but then turn some italics on
because I can, you see.

And sometimes I’ll let grammar slide
depending on my mood
no punctuation marks in sight
that does look kinda crude

It’s in my power, in my hands,
to do just what I want.
So then I take another step
and use a pretty font.

The options are at my command;
I can do as I please.
Yes, I can even use to the mouse
and change the size with ease.

And now I’m working up the nerve
to leave my safety zone.
Not sure, but I will see if I
can do this on my own.

I’ll change the color of my print
I think I’ll try some blue.
Hey, I like that. What do you think?
It’s really something new.

Or I can use the highlight key
and color the whole line.
No, that is much too much for me.
The normal way is fine.

So now I know of all these tricks
I can use when I write.
Now if I had some words to type
that would be a Delight.
