Trouble on The Dueling Ground
So it's 2021, right? Wrong. Today my sister and I decided to settle our disputes in a new way...a duel. It's the 1800s today.

The offense? We were fighting over who got to use a prop sword from a Wonder Woman costume a couple of Halloweens ago.

So we looked up dueling rules, grabbed the nerf guns, and set out for blood. We did have to skip all the "second" rules because it's just us today (the parents are busy).

I won the first duel, for the record. I shot her in the stomach, killing her instantly. Obviously not though, cause she popped right back up and said "best 2 out of 3?"

I was dumbfounded, to say the least. Most corpses don't talk. But I obliged.

So we grabbed our guns (again). We decided that non-fatal shots called for a re-duel, so after a couple of rounds of being hit in the arm, foot, etc... we finally counted down one last time.

And we shot.

This child hit me in the eyeball.

Not the face, mind you, but the EYEBALL. Fatality.

She got the darn sword.

Then this fool has the audacity to ask if I'd like to duel some more "for fun". I'm staggering around clutching my eye and trying not to laugh at the same time and she wants to know if I'm up for another round? I'm good, thanks.

Anyways, I'm fine, I just thought that was worth sharing.
