 PROMPT July 12th We've all done it. At least I have. Write about a time you were inappropriately dressed for the occasion. I guess my first recollection of this occurring was when I was in elementary school. My mom got a lot of my clothes at a thrift store. Well she thought it would be a cute idea for me to wear a poodle skirt because she had one when she was young. I didn’t know any better, and I thought it was cute. So I wore it to school one day. That didn’t go over so well. I got made fun of to the point of tears and never wore the dress again. Another occasion I can think of is one day when mom’s car broke down. I had worn a dress with dress shoes, and we ended up walking 5 miles home. I had blisters on my feet by the time we got there. However, that is the day I learned the important lesson to always wear the proper shoes for the occasion. |
