| A long time ago I went to church as a young girl. One of the first songs to learn was Jesus Loves Me. Only I sang Jesus rules me instead for the first month. The other children laughed and made fun of me for my singing and the teacher constantly repeated Jesus loves me instead. I just couldn't figure it out since none of the other children were willing to correct me. When I read the words though it became clear I had misheard the song. I had to sing Jesus loves me instead of Jesus rules me. If only I had heard the words correctly and was able to sing it right. It would have saved being teased over such a simple song. Jesus does rule but that wasn't what the song was about. I consider this to be my most embarrassing time of my life. Who could misunderstand the lyrics of a simple song? Well, I am one of those people. I won't ever forget my most embarrassing moment of time. What could be ever more embarrassing?
