The simplicity of my day to day. |
| Prompt: Let's talk about memorable experiences in your life. I'm pretty sure I've previously written about my memorable experiences before in this blog but they say a good story is worth repeating, or something like that! I feel blessed to still be on this earth and witnessing all the amazing leaps in technology but I guess my memories are filled with the times before, when technology was a word I didn't even say. So I suppose the mundane things are memorable to me. A time when life seemed more simple and expectations barely existed. Our first little house, filled with secondhand everything, I think of with fondness. Bringing my baby home was memorable, I remember being terrified. I'd had no experience with babies and was sure my ineptitude would be the end of her very short life. Leaving my country and family to travel across the world was a memory I'll never forget or the 36 hours of air travel or the consequent sickness. So I guess something doesn't have to be earth shattering for it to be memorable, the day to day can be too. |
