Alone With Who? OMG!
If you could spend one whole night with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select?

(Don't forget the reasons behind your decision!)

Alone With Who? OMG!

I really do not have an answer for this door of opportunity. Everyone I would want to meet and spend a "whole" night with are way beyond my league. By this I mean that it would be totally up to the other person to carry on conversation or initiate activities because I would be too damn inhibited to do either. Then if I chose to spend a night with someone else more my equal (well in my personal view anyway) I would be disappointed that I didn't challenge myself and go for the bigger piece of pie. But if the truth were known, the optimum slice of pie in my opinion would be none other than Vanessa Redgrave. (She is still alive, isn't she?) I do have a boundless awe toward this actress and have since the first time I saw her on screen. Yet, there are only two movies that really stick out which impressed me. One was titled "Julia" and the other was "Playing For Time." I would be satisfied to talk through the night and listen to her views about her life and the world at large. I would be ecstatic to sit in her presence. But at the same time I would decline the opportunity for fear the experience would shatter the emmaculate image I have of her.

So there is no one alive I would wish to spend a whole night with at this time in my life. I've had too many images shattered and I don't wish to risk another for a while.

Take care and may your road lead to only good places.

Tolerance is a bandaid,"Invalid ItemOpen in new Window.

Compassion and the effort to try and understand some thing that was not understood before is a step toward acceptance not only of others but most importantly of yourself.
