1. Intro & Thanks
I did not expect it to go so well...

It started with me drafting a few entries to writing.com member Kuddles' "Mystery of Featherton Manor". I liked the setting and the character ideas, and it occurred to me if you couldn't tell more stories with them if they weren't confined to just one stage. Thus I created a 2nd interactive ("Riddle"), with the specific intent of allowing these characters a bit more freedom of movement and development.

But from that moment Summer Salt, her family and her friends and the town of Hollering Heights (an allusion to Nancy Drew's "River Heights") just burst forth from my keyboard and ran wild. Though I intended - and still do - the stories to be a collective effort that incorporates every poster's ideas (I hope most of my work is aimed towards creating more interesting options for YOU, the reader, to complete ;) ), in truth I ended up writing most of the chapters myself. Every new choice or story element opened up new creative possibilities; sometimes a footnote about one character would be turned into a full blown adventure on its own right.

I want to thank everyone who enjoyed reading these stories or contributes to them. If you've had a bit of fun, then our goal's been achieved.

And don't forget: if you've got questions, ideas, concerns etc. you can find me at whade@Writing.Com .

(PS. To the gentleman who's graciously sent me an Anonymous membership upgrade: it is fine to reveal yourself. :p I always like to talk.)

EDIT: As of 2016/08/28 I'm resting the stories while I'm trying to setup a few rules for myself and assess the wants of my Writing.com readership.
