Prayer of Gratitude for Independence

Oh Lord,
thank you for the freedom
to proclaim your name.

I know that there are numerous
prisoners of conscious,
who are not blessed with the independence
that I experience.

Oh Lord,
please give them strength
to endure
their imprisonment,
and remain steadfast
in hope for the day of liberation.
