Separated

My green eyes staring at you, sparkling, wide, and bright.
I’m longing to be with you and hold you oh so tight.
Wishing you were with me, whispering sweet nothings in my ear.
Touch me so lightly while kissing my soft lips and hold me so near.

As you touch me I shiver, yet it’s not with terrible fear,
You make me want to shout your name and say I love you, my dear.
You are a special person with whom I want to spend my life.
With you in my life this way, I know my life I shall survive.

I miss you terribly when we’re apart, you are the better half of me.
When we are separated I feel as if I don’t exist and I'm sad and lonely.
Have you ever wondered what life would be like without me?
It is the time to be strong, for now, it’s time for us to see.
