Shakespearean Sonnet: "Snow for Days"
The northern states have snow enough to glaze
the rolling doughnuts of the tires, 'round lakes.
New Yorkers bundle for these frigid days,
and walk only when taxis can't they take.
Further South the snow not seen the year
is playing hide and seek in clouds of frost.
The freezing temps make one thing very clear.
Small animals must house at every cost.
In Florida, the snow's the sandy beach,
but winter's chill removes the romping droves.
The Lord of Glory has so much to teach.
The weather covers every pinkish nose.
He speaks one word, and all are silent still.
He breathes His snow, and all obey His Will.
