Prompt: Have you ever attended a Writers Workshop?

No. In the Angels Magazine, Guideposts offered us a chance to write a spiritual essay that was inspirational. They would choose 12 winners and the winners would go to Washington state to meet Debbie Macomber, a romance writer and you would attend an all expenses paid workshop about writing religious, inspirational items. I wrote a essay about the houses that built me. My father was in the Air Force and we moved a lot, so I lived in a lot of different places, went through a house fire and I wrote about this. God was there for me and I submitted my essay and I never heard anything back. I was disappointed but I tried. I guess I am better at writing romance and unicorns stories but I gave it my best shot. I just write on here, had writing classes and 2 published books so I didn't do so bad. I try to be happy at what writing success I have had.
