A Typical Friday

It’s true, I only got twelve single paragraphs written for the first episode of my Water Wars scriptwriting project at work yesterday. And I barely got them written. But there are three very good reasons for that: this project, the weather, and work.

I may have done one or two more single paragraphs for this Story Outline. But the twelve I did ended Act Three of it. And I decided not to start Act Four until today. After all, it means that I only have eighteen more paragraphs to end this episode. And nine of them are three-liners.

Since today is Saturday, there is a very good chance that I will be able to do those eighteen. If it was still a weekday, I may not be able to do it. But on the weekend, I might. Then again, I might not. I haven’t gotten that many of them written lately on the weekend anyway.

The weather was also a big reason why I didn’t get as many single paragraphs written yesterday at work. It wasn’t as bad as it has been lately. And it didn’t rain too much or very hard. But it did do a lot of raining. Especially, during the first three hours of my shift.

Work was the biggest reason, though. it was very busy at work yesterday. From the time that I got there to when I ended my shift, it was busy. And a lot of it was outside work too. Once again, I got lucky. My outside work wasn’t during the bad weather. There was some. But not too much.

I’m hoping that today will be a lot better when it comes to my writing. My goal is the eighteen single paragraphs. And I think that I can write that many on a Saturday. I hope that I do. But after the last few days, I’m not going to count on anything until it happens.
