| I stared at the wall. There were all kinds of masks. I felt like they were watching me, sizing me up. But why? The host was jovial and happy and I kind of wished he would come. Finally, he came by to talk and while he did, I forgot the masks. But they closed in on me. In his hand, he held a mask. He put it on me. The world changed. I couldn’t breathe. I tried to pull it off. I couldn’t. I only saw darkness and heard laughter. No one was near. The Death Mask did its job. |
