The Year 2031: Status? [30 DBC entry]

30DBC November 8 Prompt: What would you have to start doing now so that in 10 years you feel like you just had the best decade of your life?


This one's a toughie, considering I've already some pretty doggone good decades and, at my age, there aren't all that many more decades to come. Most of what I might call accomplishments are actually pretty much out of my control, to wit: seeing my grandkids continue to grow and thrive and, when appropriate, moving out into the world as confident young adults. The three youngest ones will all still be in school a decade from now, although the eldest of the three will be in her last year of high school. It would be great to be there for her graduation, as I was for her brother's.

I could make more than acceptable progress toward completing my bachelor degree, perhaps even complete it. And, of course, it would be great to have to add more items to my bucket list, because I'd finished the ones currently listed.
