Say, hay! [30 DBC entry]
30DBC November 10 Prompt: Your neighbor’s hay crop is ready to harvest. Everyone in their family is sick and their Combine is broken. How do you respond to this situation?

"Martins."

"Jeremy, it's Isaac Keller," came the familiar voice through the handset.

"Hello, Isaac. What's up?"

"I don't know if you've heard or not, but the Johansen's are all down sick, and so's their combine."

"Are you serious? Tomorrow's gonna be perfect weather for harvesting, too - nice and dry and in the low 80s."

"Yeah, I know. I got mine done last week, same as you, so I was thinking–"

"–we bring our Case tractor-pulls and give ol' Ole a hand?"

"Exactly. He really needs to bring this crop in, what with the size of his farm and all. He can't afford for it to go to waste."

"None of us can, Isaac. Meet up there about 7?"

"Sounds good. I'll bring a couple of thermos's of Maggie's coffee."

"Great! I'll get Angie to bake up some biscuits, enough for us and Ole and his family."

"Perfect! Thanks, Jeremy. See you in the morning."
