I have to agree with that sentiment.
I grew up within a negative environment. My mother was eventually diagnosed with depression when I was sixteen, but before that we lived in the shadow of her mood swings and negativity. I think what helped was watching Oprah and learning that optimism is a choice and that my life is not as bad as other people's.
I like that there is a day for this. Still, I think it should be an everyday thing.
