D’you lie, July?
D’you lie, July?
July, and Julie frolics in the heat,
the daisies sparkle, jewelly on the green, duly expansive in the summer sun,
and the neigbours do lie, shirtless, in the day.
Mercutio, sweating from a duel, he
appointed dully at midday,
a time too hot even for Tom Dooley
and now for Julie it’s truly July.
