A poem a day for the month of April, National Poetry Writing Month |
| Lady in White In solitude I Write To share small Gems I see In all the season's destinies - My thoughts with Nature flee. I hear the wagons Roll Passed the tree-lined way - Our Noble soldiers march to keep The Union whole today. In Him I place my faith To Screen them from all harm - The cause is Right, a worthy fight I Stay them with my Psalm. Someday you'll Read my Words Long after I have Gone - My silent Swords of pen and ink Unsigned, E. Dickinson ~~Judi Van Gorder Notes: ▶︎ |
