A poem a day for the month of April, National Poetry Writing Month |
| The Lowly Toilet Paper Roll Often discarded, never given a second thought, we all have encountered the lowly toilet paper roll. Used to wind soft paper round and round meant to unwind little by little to wipe the bum when needed. But did you know? Instead of discarding the empty cardboard tube, use it to contain electric cords on hair dryers, toasters and other small appliances. Just coil the cord and slip inside the roll. No more dangling cords No muss, no fuss, no expense. ~~Judi Van Gorder Prompt: "April 16 Poem--Ordinary object(s)" |
